LANSING, Mich. — Sen. Joseph Bellino on Thursday announced that he will serve as minority vice chair of the Senate Transportation and Infrastructure Committee during the 102nd Legislature.
“Having good roads and quality infrastructure are critical to growing our economy and attracting new opportunities as well as ensuring families have safe drinking water and people can safely drive to work,” said Bellino, R-Monroe. “I will fight to build on the historic investments we have made and make sure the needs of local roads and rural communities are not forgotten”
Bellino will also serve on the Senate Energy and Environment Committee and the Senate Regulatory Affairs Committee.
“We can ensure access to reliable and affordable energy while also protecting our lakes and environment,” Bellino said. “I look forward to working together to ensure families and businesses have the energy they need and future generations can enjoy Michigan’s great outdoors.”
